NOTE/Ticket by police officer -- Failure to give right signal on right lane on green

Hi

Yesterday police officer stopped my car and he gave me a NOTE ( or TICKET/Points- not sure ) stating at top "You are here by summoned to appear before court to answer the charging with the offense listed"

offense -- written-- Failure to give proper signal

BUT d checkbox which represent "Court appearance required" is not checked but date and time is written and he also said I am giving you a warning,

so I'm not sure it is a warning, then why I have received this note...

and at the back under penalties for commonly charged offense ---it is scrapped with 85$ representing failure to inspect..

So now What I need to do? I need to go to court..or I need to pay this amount or it is a warning and I don't need to do anything...

Visited sites, but no records found for my NOTE that officer issued me

Note the court date on your calendar. Let this matter sit for a few weeks and then follow up. I'm not sure who you would call, so I hope someone else will chime in. If all else fails phone the warning officer himself. And if you don't KNOW that it's just a warning, no fines et c., go to court on the day indicated.

Scrapped? What does THAT mean?

Stop calling it a "NOTE" - it's a traffic ticket or summons. Maybe you received a warning on another violation in addition to the ticket.

You don't seem to be able to describe exactly what you're reading on your ticket. So, either consult with an attorney who can translate for you or show up to court on the return date indicated on your ticket.
