New Jersey ...l was called in to talk to the Nj department of health on September 2 2016 about incident with a resident on August16 2016. Here it September 13 2016 i still haven't heard anything about my job. I keep calling them and they keep telling me they haven't heard anything. I provide a statement about currents events of that day. They review the tape and know i wasnt involved in the incident. I was just on the unit on that day. I need my job and my nurse aide certification. Need help i dont know what to do.

Can they just fired me while im suppose be on supension? Without telling me anything?

Unless you have a legally binding and enforceable contract that expressly and in so many words says they can't, they can.

If you're on suspension without pay, file for unemployment. You'll either get the consolation prize of benefits to mitigate your wage loss, or it will prod them into action. You don't have to be "fired" to collect. It's enough that you're not working and not being paid while you wait.
