Ohio Do Nursing Homes have the right to acquire Personal Stock Portfolios from an elderly person . I know they can acquire personal assests such as your home and insurance policies and I believe bank accounts also. There is a living trust but everything is in the persons name that is residing in the home. :(

Q: Do Nursing Homes have the right to acquire Personal Stock Portfolios from an elderly person?

A: They are allowed to acquire anything if the owner of whatever it is transfers the stuff to them.
