NYC MTA move its bus stop at my driveway entrance

I'm from New York City, New York. The MTA bus stop sign used to stand before my active driveway entrance. Just tonight, the sign has been moved past my driveway entrance. With the sign move, I'm afraid that passengers will wait inside my property premise and block my car entering and exiting my drive and causing me unnessary inconvenience and creating too much noise. Is it illegal for MTA to that?

**A: yes, since the sign is not on your property. Why have you not voiced your opinion directly to them? Meet with a supervisor at the property.

I agree that you should talk to them directly and explain the problem. I had a problem with a mailbox that was almost exactly the same; after moving the mailbox from before my driveway to after my driveway, cars would block my driveway while putting mail in the box. The Post Office came and looked at the problem, and moved it back where it originally was.

Explain to them that they have created a safety hazard for the people waiting, and for you in attempting to enter from a busy street.

HG, did you really mean to say that yes, it is illegal because the sign is NOT on her property?

Why would it be illegal for the MTA to put something NOT on someone else's property?
