You might say call the DMV in FL and find out...?

The DMV isn't likely the issue. If you're on probation, they will contact the probation department in Pennsylvania to arrange the transfer of you to a probation officer up there.
Of course since you're on probation up there (how did you end up getting to FL while still on probation in PA, did you get permission to go?). Of course, this probably shows a violation of your PA probation which might get you in more hot water.

If it were me, I'd find a way to delay the move to PA until you've satisfied all your penalties in Florida. "Transferring" your probation to the state where you had a first offense sounds like a good way to slip back up through the cracks.

Interlock device: Sounds like a good idea.

See, that's what I thought...but this probation officer here in FL told me to contact the DMV in PA:confused: I don't think he really knew the answers to my questions. My term of probation in PA will be up in June 2007 (approx. 3 mos). Yes, I did receive permission from my probation officer to move to FL. I contacted my PA attorney as soon as I got the DUI in FL and he made arrangements with my probation officer and the courts so that they wouldn't violate me in PA. All I have to do is show proof of 6 hours of counseling. Yes, I'm damn lucky....I know...and I thank God everyday for that huge gift (amongst many others) He bestowed upon me.

What do you mean by "slipping back up through the cracks"?
I agree...I not only need an interlock device but I could probably also use a reverse-lobotomy. What a dumb-dumb I am.:(

Slipping back up through the cracks means that they might notice that you are doubly in violation of your original Penna. probation which almost certainly requires you to:

1. Not leave the state (probably not even 50 miles from your home).
2. Not drink at all.
3. Commit no further crimes.

Now they probably weren't supervising your real closely because you had no record and your first interview went ok with your PO and you paid all your fees.

Now if they suddenly get a file on you they're going to possibly dig up your old file and say "what the hell?" and you're going to be in big trouble.

Yeah, like FlyingRon said above.... answered the question.

So I'd sit pretty still and not do anything to draw attention to myself, such as moving back to the state in which your first DUI was committed and putting the FL probation officer onto that trail or in touch with the PA probation office.
