ok i wrote a few times on this same issue,
friend's wife told police he hit her and showed a bruise and he was arrested on the spot. hes gone to court twice since then, once at first appearance and second for an emergency hearing to have his house back since she lied and said she was living there at the time and he asked to have it back which was denied. however in court she was caught in a lie (bout time) small but atleast it shows her credibility.
noone has even asked yet his side of the story which is she came to his residence and was bashing windows and kicking in the door to start the fight. when he opened the door to tell her to go home and she slammed herway into the door the door is what hit her cheek and created the bruise. thousands of dollars are now spent on an attorney and it still looks as if its headed to trial.
he now has a bruise from HER, she broke the nocontact and injunction and ran up to him in a store parking lot and punched him, yet police said no witness too bad. when the black eye appeared i made him go to the police station and make a report yet noone arrested her for the mark or breaking the no contact order. im stumped.. is the law really in that much favor of the women that anyone can lie and get away with it?!?!
if this goes to trial they say he faces 5 years for a mark he didnt even make. shouldnt there be more than her statement and a mark? i tried to tell the da that i was on the phone the whole fight that night and he never hit her but they threw me out and said i was lying for him. the soon to be ex kept me on the phone for two hours during the fight and ended it with "ive got a bruise and im calling the cops and saying he did it so you cant talk to him anymore."
why does noone listen even with witnesses??? im soo frustrated i cant imagine what it would be to be the male in this situation!

If he had called the cops instead of opening the door she would be the one in trouble instead of him. That doesn't help him now....but it may help someone else who reads these posts to make a wiser decision in the future.

if the store was wal mart or something similar, they may have the incident on their security tapes...it's worth asking

Exactly what I was thinking.

OP, He should file a police report & take a picture of the bruise- even if they don't arrest her, there will be a report of the incident for court.

ok now what

he made a report and had a picture taken of his eye, yes even while deputies were laughing at him.. no arrest was made, no warning was given. now shes has come to MY home after i asked her to stay away and not contact me and she has interrogated my CHILDREN about him, police told me they cant do anything. Then she went to his house, while shes screaming at him he called the police and asked to have a deputy respond, they said someone would contact him yet.. no call, no visit.. what is going on with our legal system, why does she seem to slide through the law.. ughhhhh

Why would you allow her in your home, much less allow her to talk with your children?

Never Did

I DIDNT let her in , my child was in our screen room and she came into my property and into the screen room to interrogate him.. trust me if i known before she was pulling out my drive that she was here, i would of exploded, noone and i mean NOONE should bring a child into a matter for any reason, that crossed the line

Not only that, I'm curious. Is this man your husband, brother, relation of some sort?

If I remember correctly he is a "friend". If this were me and my children were caught in the middle, this man would be gone. I can't believe that you would continue to help him at the risk of your child. According to your answer you didn't know she was there until she was leaving. What do you think might happen next time? You need to remove yourself and your child/ren from this situation. No "friend" is worth the safety of your children.

attention?

if youre talking about her, yes you are right. even my deputy friends said shes a spoiled brat who throws tantrums if she doesnt get her way or the attention shes begging for. its unfortunate she thinks every woman that talks to her husband is "having an affair" with him. she just needs to grow up. its more unfortunate that her husand faces 5years in jail just because she found thats a way for her to get more attention.. poor her

Since you don't get it, I'll have to agree with rmet. Don't talk to him (this means even via the phone) and don't answer if it is her. If she shows up at the door, call the cops. Stay out of it, leave them to their marital affairs.

exactly...

like i said.. i dont see them at all.. unless she shows up in my face.. although him and i are friends we dont talk or see each other since this mess.. we thought if we dropped our friendship this would end.. but shes just bringing it up over and over.. im getting sick of hearing about an affair with someone i cant even be friends with anymore.. shes biopolar and seems to have a split personality.. so after three hours of telling her nothing happened i gave up.. i want nothing more to do with any of it.. yet everytime she cant find him she either calls me or runs to my home. i nolonger answer my phone and i just cant up and move in the middle of the night.. ive even asked for an injunction.. if you guys have an answer other than what ive done.. go for it
