I know this question is a little off subject but any help would be appreciated.
I filed for bankruptcy before the law change. I am getting Married in March..... The question is....Can My fiance and I get a loan for a house using his credit only and both of our incomes?

Yes, if you can find a lender that will do this for you. I would think it would be a little difficult for you to be able to use your income while you are in bankruptcy; but if you find a mortgage lender that will work with you, you may get it done.

It will, of course, be very expensive.

If your new husband can qualify by himself that would be the best option for you...

Your BK will put you in a higher interest rate bracket for a max. of 2 years, at which time you can apply for a home loan and get the same interest rate as everybody else...

It will be expensive, and if you can, wait until two years is up...
