What is the name of your state? Tennessee
Last year I had a $20 check bounce. I ended up in court and had already paid it. I was given a $300 fine and a check class to pay by April. Due to some other financial problems I was unable to pay. I was just arrested for missing a court date from this. I Honestly did not know when it was. I posted bond thanks to Dad, and have a court date on Monday. Am I screwed? What is a set aside and how does it work. Is it possible to get out of this and just get an extension on the fine? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

IAAL Some people shouldn't open their mouths and you are a fine example. If you can't give good advice don't speak, it makes you look ignorant.

They failed to notify me on a court date. Their mistake
I requested a continuance on the fine and half of it was erased.

MY RESPONSE: And, speaking of "ignorant", I didn't open my mouth one time when responding to you. It was my chubby little fingers!

Seriously, who gives a crap about your little criminal situation? Do you think it's something earth-shattering that someone here would be interested in reading about your trials and tribulations over a bounced check? Who gives a crap?

MY RESPONSE: Yeah, yeah, yeah. So what? Really, was there someone here who cares about your missed court date?

When you graduate to drive-by shootings, let us know. Until then, just shut the hell up, bitch!

Wow, you can curse at me too. You must be so proud of yourself. Are you potty trained too? It is amazing how you try so hard, but your tiny little brain is so inexplicably slow.

My response:

Ha, ha, ha, ha!

Hey, let me remind you why you wrote in the first place, oh "brainy" one - -

1. "Last year I had a $20 check bounce." What a dufus. Don't you make enough money (like I do) to have "overdraft protection"? Besides, I don't bounce checks.

2. "I was given a $300 fine and a check class to pay by April." Ha, ha, ha!! What a dufus!

3. "Due to some other financial problems I was unable to pay." Yeah, you suffered a "crash" in the market. Your vegetable cart fell over.
By the way, $300.00 is pocket change for me! Wouldn't you like to be able to say that? Of course you would. But, trailer trash can never say that.

4. "I was just arrested for missing a court date from this." You didn't miss it, you just purposefully didn't appear! That's what criminals do - - criminal! How sad. You thought you'd get away with it, and nobody would notice. Surprise!!

5. "I posted bond thanks to Dad, and have a court date on Monday. Am I screwed?" Boy, that $20.00 check is getting awfully expensive! So, still living off of your parent's money? Obviously, you don't have two nickels to rub together - - not unlike your knees, though. Ain't being poor a real drag? Ha, ha, ha, ha! By the way, you're too ugly to be screwed. I'll bet you're still a virgin!

6. You're from Tennessee. That's one of the "Dufus" States, and you're living proof of the stereotype!! Got a trailer?

It's too bad you're so poor. Did you have Spaghetti O's, or Macaroni & Cheese for dinner? This is what happens when you drop out and fail to get an education - - you bounce $20.00 checks. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!

Oh, my God, my sides are aching!!

Jross You don't have to take this, put this person on your ignore list.

My response:

She can't, "slopgirl57". That's tantamount to saying, "I won't look at that accident on the freeway."

Just like YOU can't. You're waiting to read the next installment from IAAL!!
