i use a bill paying service thru my bank by on-line banking here in california. they paid the bills i selected, and two days later, they paid them again without my authorization. this caused my account to become extremely negative, i have accrued a large sum of overdraft charges, my account was frozen and checks are bouncing - all due to their incompetence. i literally spent five hours talking to representatives and supervisors today, and got no where. they want three to five days to "investigate" this situation, meanwhile my account is frozen. i should not even be in this situation. i should have an account with money in it so i can buy food and diapers for my baby. i no longer have any funds due to either an incompetent computer system or employee.
what are my rights?
