What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California
Hi there. Sorry if this is an obvious question, but it's been hard to track down an answer online and lord knows how hard it is to get an EDD representative on the phone! Anyways, until recently, I was working 2 part-time jobs. One of my jobs was working as a web developer about 15-20 a week, but after new years they said they'd keep me on as a "consultant". I haven't been given any work from them in 2 months, so I decided to try and file a claim (I'm in the Ca Bay Area). I've also been working part-time at a tutoring center for over a year, but my hours have been recently cut from 20 to 10 per week. So my question is, on the online UI claim form, it asks for employment history in the last 18 months, but the options don't have a "this is my current job" box, only a "last date you worked for this employer" box.
So, is the form only asking for jobs I've been laid off from or should I also list my current part-time job? Would I just put the current date for "last date worked"? Will they think I was laid off from that job also and I'd get in trouble for filing?
Also, if I wanted to file a claim for my work hours being reduced for my current job, would I need to file a seperate claim?
thanks
Will
