What is the name of your state? South Carolina

I am looking at a property in South Carolina to option, I think I can find a buyer for more then the sellar wants to receive.

Can someone point me in the right direction to a standard option contract? Or am I better getting one drawn up from a competent attorney?? Thanks

Grant

Yes, these are tricky. Ain't no such critter as a standard option.

But, alas, I am not sure what you are meaning: lease-option, installment contract to buy, what?

Do some searches on this forum and you will see the kinds of problems those instruments bring.

**A: I suggest you spend about 2 years studying about options first, before you attempt to do one.

So, I guess you're saying that after 35 years of trying to figure them out, if I don't know nothing by now, I should just give up?

**A: My post was directed to the OP, not to you. And you are correct about instruments. The instrument of choice for a hillbilly is a banjo.

**A: the second instrument of choice is a washboard, the third a jaws harp.
The 4th, a corncob pipe.
