I remember as a kid, every time we'd drive to Indy, we'd cut over at ******sville, and go up 67 to get there. And every time, my mom would mention Steven Judy, and tell me never to pick up hitchhikers when I grew up. This was long before I got my license.

I have to admit, I'm not sure what point you're trying to make?

Y'all need to esplainy!

The point of the post was simply to provide interesting information. Perhaps I'm a bit morbid, but I find tidbits like those in the article interesting.

The comment about Resnover was because that case was a complete circus that was handled terribly by police and prosecutors. That Gregory was a bad guy is not disputable; that he actually killed Sgt. Ohrberg was quite a stretch.

I love "last meals" info. ;)

I read about Resnover, but (true to form) didn't care.

Ah. Well, I haven't checked lately but there used to be a website that listed who got executed and what s/he ordered for their last meal.

Interestingly, some states have now put a money limit on what they're allowed to order and (from memory) one or two no longer get the option to choose at all - they get whatever everyone else is eating that day.

I do tend to keep up with these nuggets of info, for personal reasons. But since the execution of the guilty party it's really not on my "List I wanna keep" thing.

(If I missed the point again....I'm sorry!)

i read that article yesterday. i started wondering what my last meal would be if i ended up on death row. it ranged from steak to a side of cow. then i started thinking about sushi. they wouldn't let me have a sake with that sushi would they? oysters maybe? i'm limited to $50 so that kind of puts a damper on a few things. then i started wondering what i would have to do in order to get on death row. it would have to be pretty awful. i get squeamish around needles. and it would have to be more than one. i suppose i could off one person who i couldn't stand and them do some vigilante murders so even that out but still deserve a death sentence. and then i realized i don't have that much gas in my car to get very far. didn't we stop the death sentence in this state? what's the nearest state that still has the death sentence? a chili burger sounds really good right now. or a lemon jelly doughnut. i wonder if i can get this kid to walk to the doughnut shop.

Oh that's right - Cali ruled that it's unconstitutional pretty recently.

Sorry, you'll be eating Ramen.

:D

throw some sliced mushrooms, minced ginger, a shot of lobster sauce, two handfuls of spinach with a hard boiled egg cut in half....you have a 3 minute asian mushroom soup.

That one guy drank 12 Cokes? I remember one guy in the past year (but forgot who) ordered a huge fancy dinner and did not eat one bite.

Me, I'd have to have Devil Dogs and a glass of milk.
