Sorry this is off-topic...
Joplin Missouri was hit by a devastating F5 tornado on Sunday evening. There are 125 confirmed deaths so far and approximately 750 people still missing. If you've seen it on The Weather Channel, you've seen the destruction. Joplin is about 45 minutes from me and has greatly affected our small communities.
Last night, more storms and tornados swept the mid-west. Joplin's sirens went off twice more, but luckily there were no touch-downs. I know Dallas and other parts of Texas were hit and a few places in Kansas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas, as well, with more death. I think the death toll from those storms is around 13. I don't know how much damage was done.
Around noon today, Overland Park Kansas (near Kansas City) was hit as was Sedalia Missouri.
The storms are not over yet.
Please keep everyone in the path of these storms and their families in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you.
