What is the name of your state? NY, but child support through my home of records which is NJ

I am aware that in NJ CS doesn't automatically stop when the child turns 18. That in mind, my question is, if the father files to stop the child support and the child fights it for college money....does said child then have to include the father's income on financial aid applications?

That's a financial aid question, not a family law question. There may be people here that would know the answer, based on experience, but you may want to look for other forums that deal with financial aid.

Ld,
You forgot that the child cannot technically fight to stop (in the judicial sense) the child support, as the child is not a party to the action, only a beneficiary of the funds (for lack of a better term).

However, generally, on a FAFSA, you'll need to report your parent's income on financial aid applications if you are a dependant student.
