Recieved in writing to appear in court in 31 days, also was asked to leave work and home phone numbers. I did so and prepared my case for my speeding ticket in New York State. Recieved 2nd note, weeks later, stating the the trial was moved 1 1.5 months back - 81 days after I pleaded not guilty. I did not wave my right to a speedy trial. Can I motion for a mistrial? Where can I find N.Y. State cases/ material dealing with this type of matter?
