I need to know if pursuing a palimony suit in Connecticut is possible? I know it is not a community property state but what rights (if any) would a person have to make claim to % of earnings of partner during 8 years (living in same household as man & wife) Common law doesn't seem to be a popular subject anymore. I can't find an answer to anything in CT. California is an open book. Woman in relationship earned all money and kept male partner non-working to support her emotional needs and be a gopher in her business. Relationship dissolved. Woman now wants compensation for "taking care of him". Can he make a claim against part of her earnings as a live in partner via palimony or any other means??
Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
