What is the name of your state?fl
I have a scheduled 341 on December 9. I have not received anything from trustee on what documents I am suppose to bring. All I got was a copy of the "Notice of Case, Meeting of Creditors & Debtors" that was sent out to all creditors and it just says I need to show a license and SS Card.

SHould I contact the trustee to see what I should bring, or should I let the sleeping dog lay and just bring License and SS card?

I am Pro Se so I am worried about the case being tosses because I was "suppose to know" the basic documents to bring like Bank, fincail statements ect . . .

Thanks

Bring as much as you can find.

"I didn't know" is usually followed by "that's not an excuse, sir" in most situations.

Sorry to break it to you, but Pro Se in BK is like dating your sister. It might look real good when you first think about it, but isn't really the best idea in the long run.

I did not get my letter from the trustee until after the meeting and it requested that I bring my 2004 taxes both federal and state, current pay stub as of filing and bank statement as of filling SS card and photo ID. I had every thing luckly but the trustee only asked to see Photo ID ss card and the copy of my 2004 tax returns.
Hope this helps
(I was Pro Se as well it was not that bad)

341 meeting

My meeting is tomorrow. I never heard from my trustee, so I called his office to double check on what, if any, papers I needed to bring. I was told that if nothing is listed on your meeting notice, and you haven't received any other letters from your trustee, that all you have to bring is your ID and SS card. If you're still worried, call the office and ask them. I also filed pro se. I'll let you know how it goes.

It wasn't that bad becasue you don't know what you screwed up or how badly you have been taken advantage of.

This is your financial future. This is the ability to buy a house, rent an apartment, obtain a car loan, get credit cards below 24%.

If there was EVER a smart loan to get it is the one you get to pay for YOUR BANKRUPTCY attorney !!!

When someone like me comes over to repo your stuff, don't get mad. Get on the internet and ask what to do. The answer will be, nothing. It's too late. You should have had a lawyer representing you that knew what he was doing. You better hurry up because someone is going to take the computer, too. You also better remember to put the computer on your schedule of assets. When you email the trustee to ask a question that your lawyer would have been able to answer they are going to wonder how you did that. Yeah, they notice that little stuff.

good luck.
