What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Ohio

I met with an attorney last Friday who told me I qualify for a chapter 7 based on my income alone since I'm below the state median. He then proceeded to tell me to stop paying on everything excpet my car (I'm walking away from the house). It was the greatest news I'd heard in a long time. My weekend was very relaxed because I was finally not worried about where all my money needed to go.

Anyway, today I started gathering all of the information he asked me to put together (paystubs, tax returns etc.) I became paranoid about the possibility of the trustee coming back and saying that I don't qualify.

Is this normal? Is there any reason that could even happen?

I took an online budget form to see if a qualified and did my credit counseling certification earlier today both of which show me in the negative each month I'm just paranoid that if I don't pay things as instructed and something goes south I'll be in a worse spot than I'm already in...am I crazy???

There's always the fear of the unknown but, if you're below the median income, have no disposable income and are no asset then, it should be routine.
Just follow your lawyers instructions and let it play out.

BTW, another good bk site is www.bkforum.com
