I am the mother of two sons. I divorced my sons father and was awarded sole custody of my sons, with him having visitation rights. Since that time my x husband has taken me to court for contempt because i would not allow him to see the boys while in jail. at that time the judge ordered that visitation be held to sat from 9am to 7pm, and sun fron 9 am to 7pm every other weekend, until such times as my x provided proof that he had learned everything neccassary to care for the oldest child who has CRF. He was ordered to show written proof to the courts that he had obtained proper training form my son doctors. On 10-7-00 my x wrote a letter requesting that his visitations be changed to sun fron 9 am to 7pm every other weekend, thereby cutting his visitation in half. since that time my x has been placed in prison for the 3rd time for violent behavior, where he currently resides. On 7-15-01 I sent my x a letter asking if he was willing to give his son a kidney which he needs as his are failing. on 7-23-01 I recieved a letter back from my x stating that he was refusing the request for the kidney. My question is this.
Since this man has refused to give a kidney to his own son who will die without one, what are the chances that i would be able to have his visitation rights removed completely? I do not feel that it is in the best interest of my children to have contact with a man who has proven history of violence, and who does not care if his son lives or dies. Please respond asap! I am in the state of WI.
