I live in Iowa and I have a small child with my soon to be ex wife. She wants to move to Texas and take my child. She only allows me to see him when it is convenient to her i.e. birthdays and holidays when he can recieve gifts. I advised her that if she planned on moving that far away I wanted my rights taken away. She is filing for divorce and will not put it in the decree I have no money for a lawyer and because she is already using legal services they will not help me. What does Iowa law say about a parent leaving the state and giving up parental rights?
