My daughter is 19, away at college within state, holds clear title for her car, currently carried on family car insurance policy. She will be claimed as a dependent on 2000 Fed Income Tax. She is shown as a dependent/student >18 on family health insurance policy. Her college tuition and expenses are paid for by a trust fund in her name, parent was trustee of fund until she turned 18.

What is the parent's liability if she is removed from the family car insurance policy and either A) she gets no replacement insurance herself or B) obtains her own car insurance under another policy, same or different company, and has an accident which is her fault?
