parents of actress wants all images and references off film website

the parents of a minor actress that appeared in one of my films in a starring role now wants all pictures and references of her taken off my website or they will sue me. she appeared with her parents consent, because at the time she was family on my now ex wifes side, so i didnt have her sign a release, now that everythings gone sour with her side of the family they want everything involving her removed. do i have to comply? or do i own all images and likenesses of her character? please help! email me at sfarchione@excite.com i feel like i am being bullied here!!!

What kind of films are you making anyway? Any media professional would or should have known that having anyone intentionally filmed requires a model release, relative or not. Furthermore, there are laws, as you well know, designed to prevent the exploitation of minors, I'm sure you don't want to go there. You are lucky they only want her images removed from your website and are not suing you. which of course they still can. Did you compensate her for her work according to scale?
