What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Florida

I am seeking advice with my parking situation. I live in a senior community with my grandmother and another adult in a two bedroom unit. The association allows up to 4 adults to live in a two bedroom unit (no children), and 2 in a one bedroom unit, yet they only provide two spaces for a 2 bedroom unit, while a one bedroom unit receives 2 spaces as well (which is fair for the one bedroom). My name is on the lease, and I paid my fees to live here and complied with all the rules, yet the association refuses to provide me with any type of parking, and it's not because parking is a big problem. In fact, there are many many guest spaces available everyday and everynight, and there are alot more reserved spaces available as well because many units are vacant. Is it right for the association to refuse a resident parking and even go to the extent to have their car towed because it is "unauthorized" even though I am approved to live here. Is there anything that I can do? This seems like discrimination in my eyes.

Why do you think it is (illegal) discrimination? To which protected class do you belong?

This is exactly the opposite of discrimination. They are upholding the rules of the complex. They are doing it fairly across the board, without regard to the individual circumstances. That way, there CANNOT be discrimination.

I believe it's discrimination because i know of a few situations where they bent the rules for other residents. For example, parking is limited to personal vehicles no longer than 18' in length. My neighbor had a mobile home at one point, and they made an exception for them to park in a designated parking space. Another reason I believe it's discrimination is the law states that vehicles parked overnight in a visitor's space MUST have a guest pass, yet during the day it is not necessary, and the lady in charge told me a bold face lie saying that they arent allowed parking at anytime without the pass, so the same goes for me.

Ok, in that case...answer Silverplum's questions.

What makes you think they are illegally discriminating against you?

If by protected class you mean race, I am African American. The neighbors whom they made an exception for is white.

What makes me think it may be illegal is because of the woman's attitude. She was extremely rude to me, and looked at me with hate in her eyes even though I did not once raise my voice at her or disrespected her in anyway. And again the fact that she lied about daytime parking to me really has me upset and further strengthens my belief

So, let's recap.

You live in an apartment complex that allows for 2 parking spots per unit.
You have more than two cars.
At one point in the past, an exception was made for a different resident to park their over-length vehicle there for a period of time, but it's not parked there now.
They won't let you park your car there in violation of the rules for an ongoing, indefinite period.
You are black.

So, other than the fact that the lady in charge hates having to deal with a resident who just parks where he wants, even if it's against the rules, what evidence of illegal discrimination do you have?

I dont know if this is relevant, but I know of a living aid (she's also black) who's car was towed out of a visitor's spot during the day even though she never ever stays overnight. She helps out an elderly man during the day, and that is it, and by the evening she is gone. Basically I am doing the same thing, and it is what I agreed, to park off property overnight, but for whatever reason, I am being refused parking even during the day which is against their own rule. Other than that I have nothing else, and no hard documented evidence

I can also add that pets are forbidden, yet there are people (once again white) living with pets yet nothing is being done nor warnings given to any of them to get rid of the animals, and there are no exceptions to this rule.
