What is the name of your state? Maryland

We are in a Chapter 13 - 60 month plan. After 36 months, will I still have to report a part-time income, in addition to my full-time job, even though I am in a 60 month plan? In other words, does this mean we only have to meet the 36 month mark, and then after that, any extra income I make will be mine and I will not have to turn it over to the trustee?

Also, do you know how often the trustee checks to see how much our income is? Is it monthly, quarterly, yearly? Lastly, how or what means do they use to check how much we are making each month? Is there always someone tracking our social security numbers and such?

Please let me know your thoughts.

Thanks, to anyone else that has any input.

The duration of your plan doesn't make any difference. The fact is that ALL disposable income must go into the Plan... so if you get a part time job and the Trustee finds out about the extra income, you could be in for a hard time.

o you know how often the trustee checks to see how much our income is?

It probably depends on the Trustee and your case, but IF they do regular audits its probably not more than yearly. No, they do not track your SSN, they don't have the staff or the money for that kind of tracking. The law also REQUIRES you to report any changes in income so trying to hide additional income can only get you in hot water.
