What is the name of your state? Pa

My brother was just recently in a car accient where his girlfriend was driving and they were t boned going thru an intersection. The police found the other car at fault. However he has no medical insurance and the hospital is claiming that the car insurance will not cover his medical bills. He has a broken femur they had to put a rod in his leg and he had to be extracted frrom the car. he currently cant work because he has to stand at work and they dont want him standing hes suppossed to sit the whole time. What is he entitled to and does he have to apply for medical assistance for the bills or should the insurance companies cover them???????????????? if anyone can help i would really appreciate it thank u for you time

I am not sure out PA law.

But the same thing happen to me in MI. I know MI law is different but I had no med insurance. And regardless of what the insurance company says they are responsible for those bills. I was off of work for 11months.

The insurance company stop paying my meds around the end of the 3rd month. My case is process of being settled or going to trial now. My advise to you and your brother is seek a lawyer.

He is entitled to lost wages, and all. I would call a lawyer.

Your post is a bit confusing. Does the other driver have insurance? Does the owner of the car your brother was riding in have insurance?
