passport lost

Hi everyone,

I had mailed my passport and my husband's passport by certified mail along with some documents and self addressed envelope for return of the pasports.The embassy says we received only the documents not the passport.The postoffice says we have delevered. embassy people say I didn't send the passports. Because of this now I will be losing lots of money monetarily and also cannot visit my ailing parents, Have anybody in this situation before. Please . I need some help .

If you are not a USC, the contact your embassy and ask for help. If you are a USC then your only option is to apply for a lost passport replacement.
