Patent filing address doubt.

Hi
I live in US for work purpose and originally from India and still Indian citizen. I have an idea for which I would like to file patent for. Do I need to file patent at US address or Indian address? Personally, I would prefer Indian address as the market for the idea is more suitable for Indian market. Please advice.

You would most likely use both addresses -- your "residence" address, which could be India, and your "mailing" address, which could in the U.S., or whereever you normally receive mail. http://www.uspto.gov/web/offices/pac/mpep/documents/appxr_1_63.htm#cfr37s1.63
