May sound very basic, but anyone could tell me how I can know in wich countries a certain patent is applicable? I normally search tehm in espacenet and I cant find this info.

Patents are country specific -- a patent is only valid and enforceable in the country in which is was issued. A U.S. patent can only be enforced against infringement in the U.S., for example.

If you are asking the broader question -- whether an invention is patented in multiple countries -- that is a more difficult problem. Most likely, you will need to search each individual patent office for the invention, to see if a patent has been granted (or applied for) in each particular country. There are search firms that can handle this process for you, and there are some websites that have links to multiple patent offices.
