Patenting an information visualization technique

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? PA

Is it possible to patent a data visualization technique? For example, for rehabilitation exercises, can I patent a visualization design/technique that shows physical therapists how accurately the patient has been performing the exercises? The visualization would be a special type of graphic with animations. It's not like a simple bar chart. Thanks.

If your idea is novel and non-obvious, then it can be patentable.
Your best bet is to obtain assistance of a patent attorney. Filings are not really DIY things.
