What is the name of your state? OH

We were sent a bill from a pay phone company for a collect call we allegedly accepted from a NYC airport pay phone. We called and said that this wasn't our bill and we wouldn't pay it. They naturally said that it was and we asked them to prove it. Their reply was, "Our system is never wrong". It will soon go to collections. Should we just pay it and let it go to avoid the hassle? How do they get away with this??

They wouldn't specify which system they were using. The amount is $30 for a 2 minute call! Imagine if they did this to several thousand people.
