My employer said he was gonna make us pay the other employee's wages if we are late. say i am an hour late for work and 2 other guys are there on time and have to wait for me. he says he is gonna take their hourly wage out of my check. if they make 15 an hour each thats 30 dollars deducted from my check. This just dont sound legal to me. can anyone help me????

No, it is not legal, and if he actually does this you can file a complaint with your state DOL.

NOTE: You cannot file a complaint because he says he is going to do it; you can only file after he has actually done so.

SECOND NOTE: You can make the whole issue go away by the simple method of being on time.
