What is the name of your state? PA

My current boyfriend has 3 children from a previous marriage. He is a catholic school teacher only making approx. $18,000/year (translating into approx. $1100 per month). He just rec'd his support order, advising him he has to pay $950/month for his children--the mother is the primary custodian making approx. $60,000/year as a social worker. How can this be? How can he have his support lowered? He's not even receiving spousal support. He will be appealing this order. Help!
