What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Stamford

Hi,

I have a changed jobs in August from Employer A to Employer B after Emp B filed a H1 transfer in Premium processing the employer B started running my payroll from August and have 4 payrolls currently run from Both Employer A and B from August to September. Can you please let me know if there would be any problems with my GC process or any other issues which would occur ? As i already have 140 approved from my Employer A and planning to start the GC process from Employer B again so that i can port my Priority date.

Regards

Stamford is not a state. May I presume you are in Connecticut?

The overlap is not going to be a problem either for the H1B visas nor an eventual green card application. If you left your first job, the I-140 that employer started is no longer valid. You'll need to wait until after the new employer has the work authorization squared away and start a new I-140 with them. The good news is that you can keep the priority date from your previously approved I-140 application.
