What is the name of your state?
California law does not recognize common law marriages. I also understand the possible results of a pension disbursement during a divorce. However, I am unclear on the issue of a pension during a seperation of two people who have lived together for a few years and also had children together. The issue is not the children getting part of the pension, but of the father of the children. Any Help here? I do not think he is entitled to any, but I have been known to be WRONG!!
