What is the name of your state? Alabama

We're taking out a loan on a house we own in texas that we rent out. Loan documents with personal information was delivered to the Texas house (we have fed-ex documentation) and the tenants say they mistakenly opened it. The package was then re-sent to our house in Alabama (without mention of the incident - we only began to suspect when the man who was supposed to notarize the papers called us from texas). Do we have any kind of a case here, perhaps invasion of Privacy? I know that the companies involved both seem very upset over the incident (one company woke up a manager in the middle of the night; another said they would consult with their privacy lawyers and make some kind of "offer").

I apologize if I put this in the wrong place, and thanks in advance for any help you can give
