Pharmacy prescribing wrong medications

The doctor prescribed two medications. The pharmacy filled one prescription correctly and the second one incorrectly. The combination of the two medications can cause internal bleeding. We researched the medications on the internet prior to taking them so none were taken. Do we have a liable case? This occured in the state of Washington.

Dear B. Duncan;

The only way you would have a claim is if you took the medication and suffered some type of injury as a result.

Contact your State Board of Pharmacy and file a complaint. If the pharmacist has a history of this type of mistake, he could be disciplined, i.e., have his license suspended or revoked.
