Physical Therapy During Working Hours

I have a minor work related injury that requires me to attend physical therapy 6 times in the next 2 weeks. My employer tells me that I have to use my own sick time to attend the physical therapy. Is this true? I thought they would have to send me to PT during my regular work hours since it's a work related injury. Thanks for the advice.

yes you have to make your appointments either after work hours ,
or take one of your sick days or maybe you could go on your lunch break but trust me they will not let you go on the time you are working it happened to me also thats why i know. see if they have evening appointments i dont know what time you start work ,if you start work later in the day go early in the morning before you start work. the physical therapist open about 8am and they also have couple days a week late hours, they do here in ny and if that does not help then shop around to find a therapist that fits your schedual
you can do that this way. you dont loose any of your sickdays hope this advice helps. timm90 ;)
