What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Ohio Why do the judges in the state versis a person charged with domestic violence let a person change their plea to a lesser charge. then the judge lets his lawyer remove the "do not contact" order as he agreed to do things for a lesser charge. this makes no sense, why should a women go to the state or the courts for domestic violence when thye just let the other party get awy with it?? Police were called and 4 policemen were involved to put him under arrest as he was violent with them also. but when he saw the reports by them he opted out to a lesser charge. What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

Lack of evidence.

And really - are you party to this legal matter? Or is this between your adult child and the ex?

(again)
