i JUST FOUND OUT MY CHECKING ACCOUNT HAS BEEN FROZEN DUE TO NOT MAKING PAYMENTS.
I HAVE 700 DOLLARS IN IT.
I OWE DISCOVER CARD 8000 DOLLARS.
WHAT CAN I DO. CAN I GET THAT MONEY BACK?
WILL THEY TAKE MONEY FROM ANOTEHR ACCOUNT THAT i OPEN ALSO
CAN THEY FREEZE MY WIFES ACCOUNT.
PLEASE ADVICE.

The only way you'd be able to get the money back is if you could prove that the funds in the account were exempt from seizure (ex: social security).

They will find the other account and drain it also if you cannot prove it is exempt.

If your wife has a separate account that does NOT have your name on it and she is NOT included in the judgment then NO, they would not be able to freeze her account.

How do you have money if you didn't have any income?

we do have a joint account. what about debt solution companies. are they any good. what about bankruptcy. Can i go to court an dunfreeze my account.

Have your wife open her own separate account ASAP.

Debt solution companies are mostly scams and do nothing that you cannot do yourself.

You can file for bankruptcy. This may or may not get your money back. I think at this point you can probably kiss it goodbye. The bankruptcy, however, will stop them from taking any future funds from your accounts.

If you go to court, what grounds do you think you have that will make the judge unfreeze your account?
