What is the name of your state? FL

Please refer to the following thread to assimilate yourself as much as possible with the rather scattered and sometimes vague information I have been able to convey:

https://forum.freeadvice.com/showthread.php?t=398675

Further to the above thread, I believe the following steps should be done to move forward on this to ensure the best possibly results with the least amount of resistance.

The woman involved needs to find an excellent attorney with a proven track record of taking on cases just like this and the documentation to prove their skills and expertise. Most importantly, she virtually has no money so she will be unable to pay any retainer fees or otherwise.

At this moment, she is being forced to sign a document settlement whereby she will receive $100,000 in cash but will have absolutely no visitation rights with the children whatsoever. This is completely unfair and it sounds to me like she is being "rail-roaded" by her so-called attorney who specializes in Pharmaceutical law, not divorce law. I have personally read documentation she received from her husband's law firm that she was supposed to attend a hearing in late October of 2007 regarding the disposition of her children in Philadelphia but was never told that by her current attorney and therefore missed the date completely. I'm sure she lost that by virtue of the fact she never showed up. It seems to be possibly the lawyer in question is clearly not paying attention to her case or simply being paid off to lead her in the wrong direction. In either case, this is wrong and I think she still has time to rectify this situation and get what she deserves.

Please feel free to ask any questions as i will get her to open up and give anyone willing to help the proper facts needed to provide her with the best possible advise. I am her friend and I will do anything myself to see that she has access to her beautiful children. This is worse than most crimes that I have heard of and I can't believe something like this could happen in the so called "Land of the free". This country is in for a heap of trouble if things like this are common and she has not recourse whatsoever.

Thanks in advance for taking time out of your busy schedules to read this.

This is a legal advice site. Your friend's problems now go beyond any help that could be provided here IMO. She needs to speak directly with an attorney that deals with family law.
Many will do a consultation for a minimal fee.

----------------------------------my message is as follows:

To Whom it may Concern,

I have been aware that my friend was trying to help me but did not completely understand what this web site meant. As my friend stated, yes, I am paralyzed and can barely type this as I am shaking so much. I made so many decisions based on what little information I was given by my attorney and am now just realizing they were wrong decisions. I am devistated by my attorneys lack of regard for ME and my needs. My number one concern is seeing my children as agreed in the documentation the I signed as well as my soon to be ex. On top of that I now understand the ramifications of my misguided decisions and need to get correct advice before it gets too late. I realize now that I need help. I was totally coerced into signing documentation that now I know I should have never considered signed being that I was getting horrible advice from my soon to be terminated attorney.

Please help me as I know I need somebody with the professional skills and proper credentials to fight this with the using the tenacity and moral righteousness of a seasoned legal divorce specialist. Any suggestions or approaches would be appreciated beyond any words I could ever type.

As I stated YOUR problems go beyond the scope of any help that would be proved here.
You need to have a direct face to face with an attorney.

You also shouldn't be posting under your "friend's" username NOR should you have started a separate thread. If you have an issue with your attorney and think he was unethical file a complaint.

and you sure as he11 shouldn't be posting PRETENDING to be your friend.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Unless, of course, you both happen to have the exact same style of writing and tend to be exceeding verbose.:rolleyes::rolleyes:
