i live the state of florida. my question is how can my mom get gardianship over my brother when his wife and he were seperated for over a year and he is now in a coma and has been for over a month now. she is not concerned with him and we need to make quick decisions sometimes and she can not be contaced sometimes. how much will is cost ?

See an attorney to file an emergency Petition with the Family Law court, using the reasons you've said here.
There's a 50/50 chance it will be granted.

Also, like the old saying goes, "If you have to ask the price, you can't afford it."

See an attorney, get an estimate of the fees and costs, and then get a bank loan.
