My grandmother's daughter in law thinks that if she or her husband get power of attorney they can force my grandmother to go into a nursing home. My grandmother is not incapacitated at all. Is this true?

Your grandmother's daughter in law needs to learn a lot more about POAs. And, if granny needs these types of documents done, she needs to see an Elder Law attorney now.
