What is the name of your state? Mississippi

My mother is suffering from dementia and was getting to be too much for me to handle. I recently placed her in a nursing facility, which she was totally against. No one has POA for her. My brother and sisters and myself are all on her bank accounts but that is it. How do I get power of attorney for her since she is already mentally incompetent?

I am not an attorney, but my understanding is that since she had given no one power of attorney while she was still competent, you will now have to go to court to have a guardian or conservator appointed.
