What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? North Carolina
I'm working on a management contract with an artist (where I would be the mgr), and we're getting hung up on whether the power of attorney should be irrevocable or not. My feeling is that it should be irrevocable, so that if I sign an agreement for the artist (assuming everything is done in good faith) he/she can't decide they don't want to do the 'thing' that I signed for and just revoke the power of attorney to get out of it.
What's the industry standard for this sort of thing?
Thanks! What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
