we are a small corporation in wi. a power of attorney called us to get fuel oil for his "client". we told him we needed to get paid at the time of the delivery. the power of attorney gave us his credit info instead so that he could be billed. after a couple of deliveries the power of attorney called and said he is no longer the power of attorney. there is an outstanding balance from the deliveries that were not paid. the "client" is in jail. do we have any just cause to go after the power of attorney? we feel he secured the credit with his credit, sort of like co-signing for a loan. please help. the balance is around $400.
