I have power of attorney for my mother when she was placed in a nursing home. What is my responsibility for her bills? Her bill collectors are calling me. She has no assets as she was on Social Security before she was Hospitalized. Can they make me pay. Tired of them calling me. Also, I believe my mother gave one of her credit cards to my sister, in another state, and she is continuing to use it. What am I to do?!!
