I would like an explanation of this, and if and when it will be extracted from my record or does it even appear? I received this for a speeding ticket in NC.

I am not a lawyer, jsut someone wanting to help... As an insurance agent I can tell you that it will show up on you MVR(Motor Vehicle Report), there will be a "PBJ" next to the ticket showing that there was a Prayer Before Judgement. Insurance companies cannot charge for this ticket no matter what it is. Insurance companies however get around this by being able to group you in a different "Risk" bracket and charge you more for being in that different bracket, but the can still not charge for the actual ticket. I am unsure how many you can have at one time but I will say that I have never seen more than one in a year. Hope this helps....
