If a minor becomes pregnant and hides the pregnancy from the natural father with her parents help, and gives the baby up for adoption, or allows her parents that live out of state to adopt the child, and the father finds out years later that the child does exist, what rights does he have to the child? Also if the adoption was done out of state, but the mother was still resident of Mississippi, what state would the adoption law fall under? The child would have been born in Louisiana.
Also is this a criminal act?
