I live in Tennessee. Signing a prenuptial agreement in the next 60 days or so and will be married 60 or so days after the signing. Will not be comingling funds, everything will be separate including bank accounts and credit cards. Want to know if filing a joint tax return would in any way alter or prejudice my rights with the signed prenuptial in a way that would be detrimental to me...in other words, an authority saying that since I filed a JOINT tax return, I have comingled funds in some way and thus the prenuptial agreement, or parts thereof, are invalid.

My response:

The only way for us to even begin to suggest anything to you would be to see that portion of the agreement concerning income, expenses, and separation of funds.
