I work as a technician for an alarm company and was working on a job for the state that my employer said was prevailing wage. when I looked at my check, I noticed no increase in pay but noticed a bonus on my check. Someone told me that is illegal for my company to do.
Is this true and if so what benefit does my company get for doing it this way?
